SPECIALIST LITERACY CLINIC

Our specialist literacy clinic incorporates the expertise of a Speech Pathologist, Psychologist and a highly experienced Literacy Specialist Teacher to support children in reading and spelling development using evidence based phonics instruction.

CIRCLE of security parenting

A six week program to help you understand your child's needs by building quality relationships. Our trained facilitators will help parents understand their child’s emotional needs, support their child’s ability to manage emotions and develop their child’s self esteem.

social sports squad

A mini sports group run by our physiotherapy team aimed to develop fitness, social skills and increase participation.. and most importantly, to have fun!

SOCIAL LEARNING LABS

These learning labs look beyond the typical “Social Skills”. These are social learning groups based on the evidence based Social Thinking™ frameworks designed to help children develop their social awareness, understand the hidden rules of our social world, and to know how to navigate a range of social situations.

Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS)

This world renowned learning program targets the development of social and emotional competence, building children's protective behaviours and reducing the risk of behavioural and social problems. It is designed to prevent violence, aggression and other behavioural problems, to improve critical thinking skills and enhance the classroom climate and home environment.

The Hanen Program - It Takes Two To Talk

It Takes Two to Talk is a family focused program for parents of children aged 0-5 years. One of the greatest gifts parents can give their child is the help he or she needs to communicate and connect with the world. You will learn practical and powerful strategies to help your child communicate and interact during everyday routines and activities.

RAINBOWS FOR ALL CHILDREN

This evidence based program offers peer support groups for children who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to death, divorce, deployment, incarceration, a long term illness, as well as support for those going through trauma or a major life changing event, such as moving or transitioning to a new area. The support groups are for Pre-K through high school aged children from all backgrounds.
