The Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS) program is a world renowned program grounded in social and emotional learning. The PATHS curriculum is a comprehensive program for promoting emotional and social competencies and reducing aggression and behaviour problems primary school-aged children (kindy - year 6) while simultaneously enhancing the educational process in the classroom.

When students learn and use social and emotional learning skills, their behaviour improves and disruptions lessen. Instead of wasting valuable classroom time managing misbehaviour and providing discipline, teachers can teach and students can learn.

The program is designed to build protective behaviours, decrease the risk of behavioural and social problems, prevent violence, aggression and other negative behaviours and to improve critical thinking skills.

This program will be run by our registered counsellor, Tara Norman, and will run for 10 weeks. To find out more about this program contact us today
